Rigi Gold – the mountain beer
The aim of Rigi Gold is to stir the emotions of the local population and visitors to this beautiful mountain world. Beer is a very ancient drink and brewing is a tradition that Rigi Gold AG wants to preserve, along with other local customs, in these wonderful natural surroundings.
The beautiful reddish colour of the beer, which comes purely from the cereals used for malting, is a delight to see, with or without the sunset in the background.
Since June 2015 this tasty, full-bodied and malty beer has been available from selected outlets on Mt. Rigi.
You can try the beer at certain restaurants on the mountain or at the Hotel Restaurant Seebodenalp. It's wonderful to enjoy the view over a fine beer, whether after a steep climb or during a leisurely day out on Mt. Rigi.
