Die meist flachen 3 km Loipe sind aufgeteilt in eine Runde von 2 km und eine Runde von 1 km. Sie sind für klassische und Skating-Technik gespurt. Wer den Puls in die Höhe treiben will, kann in der Mitte der 1-km-Runde auf die Rennstrecke wechseln und über 1 km zügig zum Ziel laufen.
