Oberberg cross-country ski run for ambitious skiers
Ambitious skiers will appreciate its topography and lines for training.
On the high plateau of the Oberberg, the Schwyz and Ibach ski clubs maintain a 3-kilometre long cross-country ski run. This is included in the Swiss cross-country ski trails pass. It is entered at the former Oberberg guest house. The first thing to do is to get the run’s 50 metres of elevation behind you. The Wasserberg, Blüemberg und Chaiserstock mountains of the Muotathal Alps all greet you on the way down. The cross-country ski run, which is prepared for both traditional and skating, can also be used in the evening. The evening cross-country skiers turn on the lighting for themselves. On Tuesdays, the cross-country skiers from the two ski clubs meet up for joint training.
