Path of Rigi First
Rigi Kaltbad – lower Firstweg – First – upper Firstweg – Rigi Kaltbad
An easy, panoramic walk that you can do with a pram, too.
This easy walk goes from the village square in Kaltbad to Rigi First, some of the way on an asphalted track. On the way, there are benches and a playground to spend some time at. On this path, which is accessible for prams and wheel-chairs and has lovely views of Lake Lucerne, you should note particularly the Reformed church designed by Zurich architect Ernst Giesel, the typical gompholite rock faces and an information sign about the origins and geology of Mt. Rigi. From the sunshine terrace in First, the idyllic upper Firstweg takes you back to Kaltbad… a lovely round trip that is not at all strenuous.
