Hike from Illgau into the mountain world of the Ybrig with two viewpoints.

The hike starts in the village of Illgau and leads in the direction of Bergli to Fraumatt and then on to Feissi. On arrival at Nielenstock you take a circular route to Laucherenkappelen past the Spirstock vantage point and on towards Sternenegg.  From Sternenegg you walk down via Rieter back to the village of Illgau.

By train to Schwyz-Seewen station, then by bus to the valley station of the Ried-Illgau cable car (line 1 Schwyz - Muotathal).

Getting there

By car on the A4 to the Schwyz exit, then in the direction of Muotathal to the valley station of the Ried-Illgau cable car or by car in the direction of Muotathal to the valley station of the cable car and follow the signs to Illgau.

Parking

Parking is available at the bottom station of the Ried-Illgau aerial cableway and at the church.
