The rural route: Seebodenalp - Rigi Kaltbad (or vice versa)
Seebodenalp - Alp Ruodisegg - Alp Räb - Känzeli - Rigi Kaltbad
An impressive mountain experience awaits you. The hiking route scores with breathtaking panoramic views and untouched nature.
The Seebodenalp hikers' paradise is situated on a large, protruding terrace at 1020m a.s.l. above Küssnacht am Rigi. You hike leisurely on the first section of the trail, practically flat through the avenue of trees. On your route you pass the Ruodisegg alp, before taking the steeper ascent towards the Räb alp under your feet. From the alpine farm, the path becomes even steeper, but the view at Rigi Känzeli is worth the effort. The hike can also be done in the opposite direction.

Public transport
Public-transport-friendly
Take public transport to the valley station of the Küssnacht-Seebodenalp cable car. The cable car is in continuous operation when the number of guests is high.
Getting there
Take the A4 motorway to the Küssnacht am Rigi exit and follow the signs for Weggis - Vitznau.
Parking
Metered parking is available at the valley station of the Küssnacht-Seebodenalp cable car.
However, we recommend public transport instead of a car: sit back, enjoy and do something good for the environment to boot.
