As this snowshoe trail runs along the edge of the ski slope and toboggan run, depending on the snow situation, it can be walked individually and without special signposting. There are also no dangerous spots or rocks on the south side of the Rigi.

On quiet soles you can make your first tracks in the snow on this panoramic tour. Surrounded by the silence of nature and the magnificent view of the Bernese Alps and Lake Lucerne, you will enjoy the uniqueness of the Gersau Alps. Meanwhile, the Rigi Hochflue towers majestically above you. For the descent, you can comfortably use the cable car from Rigi Burggeist to Obergschwend.

Good accessible by train and bus. Rigi Burggeist, the starting point of this tour, can be easily reached via Obergschwend or Rigi Scheidegg with the cable car.

Via Brunnen - Gersau - Obergschwend.

Parking

There are plenty parking spaces avaliable at valley stations. Fees apply.

However, we recommend public transport instead of cars: lean back, be stress-free and do something good for the environment.
