Blumen und Schlangen in wildromantischer Gegend

Started in sunshine, which quickly changed to cloudy and misty weather, followed by rain, and then heavy rain; and waking up to snow on the peak which translated into rain during the descent. Good thing: I was totally alone in the mountain. Bad thing: very slippery and muddy; sometimes slightly dangerous during descent. Discovery: a lot steeper than anticipated (my fault not reading the map better). It's a calorie-burning event, especially if carrying food and tent and clothes for all conditions. Overall: Instead of spending all energy and time getting "up and above" like one does on this trail, my next trip will start "up there" - so I can enjoy more of the time horizontally than vertically.
